Instructions
In a small saucepan, heat the almond milk over medium heat. Be careful not to let it come to a boil. Once the milk is warm, whisk in the chocolate protein powder and unsweetened cocoa powder until they are fully dissolved.
Add the peppermint extract and sweetener, adjusting to your desired taste. Stir well to combine. Continue heating the mixture for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally to ensure it's well blended and heated through.
Once heated to your liking, carefully pour the hot cocoa into a mug. Top with whipped cream, crushed peppermint candies, or dark chocolate shavings for extra flavor and decoration. Serve hot!
