Cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve one quarter cup pasta water then drain.
Blend cottage cheese and milk until completely smooth.
In a saucepan over medium low heat melt butter or oil.
Add blended sauce and heat gently stirring often.
Stir in mozzarella, parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper until smooth and creamy.
Add cooked pasta and loosen with reserved pasta water as needed.
Optional whisk in protein powder until fully incorporated.
Serve hot and with cheese on top if desired!
