
Protein Banana Bread Waffles

Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana, mashed
- 1 scoop (30g) Vanilla or Snickerdoodle protein powder
- 1/2 cup oat flour (or blended oats)
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup egg whites
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: 1 tbsp mini chocolate chips or crushed nuts.
Instructions
- Preheat your waffle iron and spray with non-stick spray.
- In a bowl, mash the banana until smooth. Whisk in the egg and egg whites.
- Add the protein powder, oat flour, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt. Mix until just combined.
- Pour onto the hot waffle iron and cook for 3-5 minutes until golden and crisp.
- Top with a drizzle of maple syrup, nuts, bananas and/or peanut butter.
