Tropical Turkey Smash Tacos

Ingredients
For the tacos:
- 8 oz ground turkey (93% lean)
- 2 tsp Caribbean Jerk spice blend (365 by Whole Foods Market)
- 3 small flour or corn tortillas
- 1/4 cup mango salsa (365 by Whole Foods Market)
- Cooking spray or neutral oil
For serving:
- 1/4 cup fresh mango, diced
- 1/4 cup fresh pineapple, diced
Instructions
- Season ground turkey with Caribbean Jerk spice blend and mix until fully combined.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Lightly coat with cooking spray.
- Lay a tortilla flat in the pan. Add approximately 3 oz of seasoned turkey on top of the tortilla.
- Using a spatula or burger press, smash the turkey flat directly onto the tortilla.
- Cook 3 to 4 minutes until the bottom is crispy and golden.
- Carefully flip and cook another 2 to 3 minutes until the turkey is fully cooked through.
- Remove from the pan and immediately top with mango salsa.
- Serve with fresh mango and pineapple on the side.
- Repeat with remaining turkey and tortillas.
