Ingredients

3 Tbsp oat flour
2 Tbsp chocolate protein powder
1 Tbsp cocoa powder
1 Tbsp coconut sugar
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/16 tsp salt
3 Tbsp hot water
2 Tbsp unsweetened applesauce
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1 Tbsp dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the oat flour, chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, coconut sugar, baking powder, and salt until evenly combined.

  2. Add the hot water, applesauce, and vanilla extract. Stir until the batter is smooth, thick, and glossy.

  3. Transfer the batter to a microwave-safe mug and sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the top.

  4. Microwave for fifty to sixty seconds, until the center is set but still soft. If needed, heat an additional ten to fifteen seconds.

  5. Let cool for three minutes before eating. Serve as is or top with Greek yogurt, whipped cream, or a light dusting of cocoa powder.
