Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread whole wheat, sourdough, or your choice
  • 1 ripe banana sliced
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 1 tablespoon honey optional
  • Pinch of cinnamon optional
  • Cooking spray or oil for greasing the air fryer basket

Instructions

  • Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (175°C) for a few minutes.
  • Prepare the Bread: Lay out the slices of bread on a clean surface. Spread 1 tablespoon of tahini evenly on each slice of bread.
  • Arrange Banana Slices: Place the banana slices on top of the tahini-covered bread slices, arranging them evenly.
  • Optional Sweetener: Drizzle honey over the banana slices for added sweetness. You can also sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon for extra flavor if desired.
  • Air Frying: Lightly grease the air fryer basket with cooking spray or a small amount of oil. Place the prepared banana-topped bread slices into the air fryer basket.
  • Air Fry: Air fry at 400°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes or until the bread is crispy and golden brown, and the bananas are caramelized.
  • Serve: Carefully remove the Air Fried Banana Tahini Toast from the air fryer. Allow it to cool for a minute before serving.
