Protein French Toast Sticks

Ingredients
2 large eggs
6 large egg whites or ½ cup liquid egg whites
½ cup milk of choice
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
½ to 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
9 slices high protein bread sliced into sticks
Olive oil spray or a small amount of butter for the pan
Instructions

In a large shallow bowl whisk together the eggs egg whites milk protein powder cinnamon vanilla and sweetener if using until fully smooth with no protein clumps.

Preheat a large nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with olive oil spray or butter.

Slice each piece of bread into thick sticks.

Dip the bread sticks into the egg mixture letting them soak for about 30 to 60 seconds turning to coat all sides.

Place soaked sticks onto the hot pan and cook for 4 to 5 minutes total flipping every minute until golden and crisp on all sides.

Repeat until all sticks are cooked.

Serve warm with Greek yogurt for dipping
